So I guess i'll start off saying that whenever you want to know what is in a product, you want to look at ingredients. The law for these marketers is that they must list the ingredients in order from highest concentration to lowest. I was previously using another fiber powder daily. It was time for a change. I tried PGX along with a couple of others.

The PGX was the only mixture that gave me the dose of fiber I was looking for and included appetite control. At first I thought this was a bit hokey but PGX actually did control my appetite.

In the beginning the appetite control would last until dinner. As my body became more accustomed to the mix I find that I need PGX several times a day. But it works for me.

The only negative is that you can't just mix with water. The powder is coarse and does not dissolve well. If you add some orange juice it hides the undissolved powder and goes down easy.

If you are looking for a daily does of fiber and appetite control (or just appetite control) this is your product.

Take it from a person who has always felt the need to nap whenever possible because of how tired I always am, THIS PRODUCT WORKS! Not only did this help me feel really energized throughout the day, it also helped my Husband too. He would call me out of the blue and tell me how much he was getting done at work because he had the energy to do it. I also stopped napping during the afternoon which is pretty amazing considering I use to take one almost daily after work. We cannot recommend this product more. My bottle ran out and I can tell because I am back to feeling tired throughout the day again.

This product will not make you feel jittery. I use this product along with the Herbalife shakes, celluloss, cell activator, and a multi vitamin and the weight is dropping off of me FAST! If you are skeptical about the Herbalife program, well I was too, but both my Husband & I both feel better on this plan than any other that we have tired, and believe me we have tried pretty much every plan out there. This product has Magnolia Bark in it, which has been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years for anxiety and depression. I am never without this product. I was able to go off of medication for depression and ADHD, but, everyone is different. Of course you should consult your doctor first, but chances are they will not know a thing about it because it's a natural product. The Bioperine has black pepper extract which helps lower blood pressure, and the mag. bark also helps with cortisol control so you wont feel like snacking as much. The green tea is for weight loss and a natural boost. This product really does work for me. If you have it shipped overnight, the gel caps could burst in the airplane, and that is a mess! If that happens, put the bottle in the fridge so the spilt product will not spoil.

After taking one or two pills before normal lunch/dinner, I didn't even feel that hungry. I knew that I should eat a snack or a small meal, and it helped me control portion size and was able to choose healthier items to eat. Greasy fries? Didn't even feel like eaing them. I'm very happy with Hoodia Gordonii so far... I've always had a hankering for high cholesterol and unhealthy foods.

For $10 a bottle, I was skeptical, but figured I'd give it a shot. It really honestly DOES make you feel full. It's great for beating in-between meal cravings, although I noticed once I started eating my stomach realized it was empty once I stopped, and my appetite returned. It's a good part of a comprehensive diet approach, but it's not the end-all of diet pills.

I've used this for an entire year and helped me drop down from a size 14 to a size 6. I am not kidding. I've heard people complain about it making them jittery, in my opinion, it just gave me a lot of energy. I recommend you take this with food (A full meal) so it will not give you "the jitters". It gave me enough energy to walk half a mile, do a 3 hour dance rehearsal and I still had enough energy left before the day was over. I advice people who take this to drink lots of water. When I take this, my mouth feels dry so drinking a lot of water helps. And don't forget to exercise or at least walk for 15 minutes a day.

I decided to wait before writing a review because in the past, I have tried many different products; quickly dropped a few pounds and then watched them come right back - usually with one or two more.

I work in a high stress office, with tons of free junk food. So, I purchased this product to help curb my cravings and see if I could shed about 5 pounds.

Nothing in any of the reviews gave me real cause for worry. But just in case, I decided to start taking these pills on a Saturday. After all, dying at work would be unproductive and so embarrassing.

Fortunately, nothing happened to my heart, but 1) I did get a dry mouth, 2) needed to drink a lot more water, 3) had trouble sleeping, 4) didn't have any cravings, 5) lost about 6 pounds the first week.

In the remaining three weeks 1) the need for extra water remained constant, 2) sleep became more regular, 3) bowel movements became less regular - solved by eating some brown rice a couple of times a week, 4) cravings for sweets were gone, 5) cravings for coffee dropped to a partial cup in the morning 6) I lost a total of 22.5 pounds!

After being "off" the pills for two months and going through the Thanksgiving holiday, I have gained back about 2 pounds. Now that these pills are back in stock, I plan to use them for a week, during the end of the year holidays.

Needless to say, I am delighted and I would recommend these to anyone looking for a diet pill that actually works.

I don't think it is natural because from the moment I started to take it I started to get black spots and acne on my face, so I think it's only hormones with a new name. I bought a box of HoodiaP57 from the products website. The pill did do a good job of making me not as hungy. It didnt make me feel "full" right away, but I did eat less and had less cravings between meals. Everyone around me noticed I wasnt helping myself to 2nd servings.

It isnt a miracle pill that will make you lose all of your appetite but it does good for someone who is willing to put some effort into eating less. Overall I think its a great product and the free shipping on Amazon makes it worth buying here over the products website.

I bought this from the Hoodia P57 website,(at the time Amazon did not have it) after reading some hoodia product reviews. I think hoodia works as long as you can get your your hands on the real stuff. Something that has a concentration of the stuff and not a bunch of fillers. Anyway I tried this and it is the only thing I've taken that curbed my appetite without ANY SIDE EFFECTS. I think my system is really sensitive or something, most diet pills make me crazy - nervous, jittery, heart racing, etc. Maybe they even worked but I never found out because I couldn't take them more than 2 or 3 days.

It did take about 4-5 days to kick in but after that I noticed my cravings and appetite were under control.I was eating about 1200-1400 calories a day without feeling hungry at all. Since I know this worked for me I'm getting some more and sticking with it until I reach my goal weight. Also the price on Amazon is comparable to website price.

I have tried several Hoodia products and was not pleased until I tried Hoodia 750. Hoodia 750 contains 750 mg of PURE Hoodia unlike the other Hoodia products I tried which had a whole bunch of other ingredients in them, barley any mg of Hoodia and made me sick. After lucking upon info about pinolenic acid (thank you Health Ranger Mike Adams!), I did a good bit of research on it. I'd read that PA can work to suppress appetite, and I know from having lost 30-40 pounds four years ago that what I needed more than anything was an appetite suppressant. Some of that weight came back (I have hypothyroidism), so I had to find a way to take care of it, because, as we all know, it really is unhealthy to carry around even 20 lbs. of extra weight, not to mention demoralizing. I have, so far, found this product to be quite effective at either eliminating my appetite or at curtailing my eating when I *do* decide to eat.

I take one early in the morning, and have no appetite until noon. I take 1-2 more later in the day, and once again it knocks my appetite right out, to the point that I forget to eat until later. When I do eat, I get full quickly and don't really desire bad food. I do drink lots of water, though, but I have always done that. I also eat far fewer carbs, a lot of vegetables, lean meat, and no sugar...So, right now, I am eating really healthy stuff and don't feel deprived at all. I just pray that this continues...I honestly don't even think about food that much.

One more product that knocks out my appetite and perks me right up is Alive! Whole Foods Energizer supplement (in the little packets that you stir into water) by Nature's Way. I don't know if it's the massive B vitamins in that product or the spirulina, but that stuff is genius when it comes to making me feel better and controlling my appetite.

So, both of these products seem to be helping me. But I started taking pinolenic acid two weeks after I had begun taking the Alive! supplements, and I am finding it to be the most effective of all.

I am writing this review to help others, since I was unable to find many reviews by real people when I started my research. I wouldn't tell you the above if it weren't true...I am in no way associated with any of these companies; I would just like others to find appetite control help the way I did. Best of luck to all of you who read this. :-)

I've tried hoodia and other things, but this stuff works, and I haven't had to take the recommended dose - which is 3 capsules each time you take it. I take one in the morning with my coffee and bagel, and that lasts me through the day - I eat normally, and then I take one in the late evening because I have problems with late evening eating. Now I'm getting through that time period just not feeling the desire to eat. For me it's more of an emotional pattern in the evening, than an actual hunger.

I haven't noticed any adverse effects, so for me this has been a good product. I'm hopeful I'll start to see some results, and with healthy

nutrition and daily exercise, I'll get in better shape and feel healthier.

Actually, there is a burning sensation in the nostrils upon using, but it goes away very quickly. I used this product at the first sign of a craving and, along with the burn, the craving went away as well. Whether it is an effective weight loss product is yet to be determined. I'll let you know.

I started a nutrition program with controlled portions and a calorie cap that was way under what my super bad eating habits had racked up each day. I was coming home wanting to just eat everything in the fridge and ruin a whole day of doing well until I bought these. I take two in the morning, two more around 4 and I have not felt that need to gnaw off my arm or push children aside to get at a cheeseburger. I don't usually work out until later in the day and find I still have enough energy at that time to easily handle the gym. I'm not jittery at all from the caffeine - usually a cup of coffee will keep me up to 2 am but not having any trouble with these. It's just a week in but I'm very happy with this product so far.

Today is the first day I've taken these. All day I've felt just uncomfortable. My stomach is bloated, I've been getting dizzy, and it has not suppressed my appetite. My heart has raced a few times too. I assume all these weird feelings are due to the Dexatrim. I am very healthy and never feel bad unless I'm sick, so I can't imagine what else it could be. I may try them one more day, but I'm not sure it's worth it.

...I stuck with it for a few more days. My heart still raced a little, but nothing that I was concerned about. This stuff still never suppressed my appetite whatsoever. Just a waste of $20.

In an attempt to get off cholesterol lowering medication (Lipitor), I started taking Lipotrim. I started out by taking one Lipotrim three times a day and reduced my lipitor to 1/2 tablet every other day. This was about a year ago. I've had two cholesterol checks (6 months apart) and my cholesterol levels are great. I'm now taking 1/2 tablet lipitor 2 times a week and continue to faithfully take the Lipotrim. I'm looking forward to getting off the lipitor completely. My doctor tells me to just keep on doing what I'm doing cause it's working. I'm also taking Fish Oil Capsules from Midwestern Wellness. My doctor says the Fish Oil supplement is also aiding in lowering my cholesterol. (Incidentally, I don't get "fish oil burps" from Midwestern Wellness brand of fish oil.) Hope you'll have the same wonderful results I've experienced.

Since I'd been having trouble staying awake during the day, and I didn't want to take up coffee drinking on caffeine pills I decided to look into peppermint oil, as I'd recently read that it was supposed to be just as effective when inhaled as caffeine, without the risks.

I looked over several products before settling on this one, as it supposedly had other natural scents known to produce alertness.

Unfortunately, as soon as I got the product and put it to work I found it completely ineffective. It had no impact on my level of alertness, and I was just as drowsy as ever. I don't know if it's just me, or if the product itself doesn't have the proper concentration, but the product was a complete failure for me.

It is a mystery, why this is still on the market, not banned, not recalled.

Smart burn contains extract from garcenia cambogia which contains HCA, Hydroxycitric acid.

HCA is livertoxic, that means it damages the liver.

In May 2009 Hydroxycut recalled and stopped selling several of its products, because they contained HCA. HCA was blamed for the death of several people and many more who got sick.

After three months of taking Hoodia pills I still see no difference, I even increased the dosage to three pills a day. Still nothing, same appetite, same weight. I also noticed regular headaches which seem to correlate with the timing of taking these pills.

Another thing that causes suspicion, the packaging nowhere states that it actually contains Hoodia Gordonii out of South Africa, the only species of Hoodia that actually has p57.

I actually take Dexatrim Max Daytime Appetite Control. I was having bad cravings for any food, anytime. I've taken 8 tablets so far, with about a two week break after taking the first 6 and I take 2 a day. One in the mornings/noon and one at night. I've already lost 4 pounds, and while it has definitely killed my appetite, I can still get hungry for regular meals, though I don't eat nearly as much as I used to in one sitting. I am amazed! Always talk to your doctor before starting any supplements or taking pills, but I am glad to finally find something!

I do an hour of cardio a day(normally running on the treadmill) followed by 20 minutes or so of strength training and I don't think I could find the energy without them! Since I started using them to boost my energy to work out I've lost about 14 pounds...which is pretty great considering I started out at 131 lbs.(a little chunky for my small 5'4" frame). I tend to snack when I get bored or read (and I read a lot). However, this product has exceeded my expectations by noticeably curbing my tendency to do so (I've lost a clothing size already after three weeks of usage without changing any other behavior), and this appetite-suppressing property lasts for hours on one tablet. Which is weird, because this product is mostly caffeine (but not so much that it makes my sensitive stomach upset at all) and B vitamins. It has more than that in it, obviously, because those two ingredients alone are things I was ingesting every day anyway. I would say, buy a bottle and see what you think!

I bought this product because my metabolism seems now to move at a snail's pace and I wanted something that would inhibit food cravings. I regret buying this product because it does not accomplish this satisfactorily. There is so little active ingredient in these capsules that you must ingest them a minimum of three times a day. Hey, girls. Imagine taking The Pill three times a day! In our busy lives, it's almost impossible to remember to take one before work, during work, and after work exactly 30 minutes before each meal. It makes you feel like you have some sort of fatal disease. This product should induce a very mild nausea (like when you are sick) and that effect should last all day with only one capsule. I would not recommend this product. I will not buy it again. I am very angry at having to waste almost $30!

The wife and I have tried KY products and Astroglide is just so much better. I think Astroglide's catch-phrase is "Second only to nature" and its true. A little drop of this stuff goes a long way. Depending on your level of "activity", a 5oz bottle like this could last months.

The liquid itself is water-based, so if you're using condoms with it, then you're good to go. It won't damage them or deteriate them. Its also gooey and very slick, with a "natural lubricant" feeling. By the way, if you spill this on a hardwood floor or tile, clean it up with a dry rag or paper towel. It is slippery on the floor!

I tried Astroglide because it seems to be the most popular lubricant on the market. However, I can't really figure out why, as it is my least favorite of the ones I have tried.

The liquid is thin, extremely messy, and has a tendency to run all over the place. The runniness and ensuing mess were so bad that it sort of became an in-joke between me and my partner. It's also very easy to get too much unintentionally. When you put it where you want it, it won't stay put unless you use your entire hand to spread it on the surface, so your choice is to dribble on the sheets or be left with a very messy hand.

The lubricant itself doesn't seem to last very long and reapplication is usually necessary. I personally didn't think it felt as good as other products, as it seemed less slippery.

In addition, this product has ruined my very nice 400-count cotton sheets. There are permanent lube stains now that refuse to wash out. I realize that there is some risk of staining with lubricants, but the fact that it's water-based *and* impossible to avoid some dripping on the sheets makes this issue even more frustrating to me.

If I can help it, I will never buy Astroglide again. Boo Astroglide!

I am, however, very pleased with the next product we tried, Durex Play More Lubricants - Pleasure Enhancing, 3.38 oz. It, too, is water-based, so it is safe to use with condoms. The product is thicker, meaning it doesn't run like crazy, and the bottle has a pump which makes it less messy and easier to get just the right amount.

I used the PGX powder prior to ordering the softgels. I found that the powder does not desolve well so I figured I would try the softgels.

Ughhhhhh. These are awful! They are soooooo big that they are uncomfortable to swallow. And I do not have issues swallowing pills. I can usually take 3 pills at a time including vitamins.

Plus I did not feel like the softgels were working as well as the powder. I am back on the powder and the softgels are in the closet.

I tried this product after reading about it on Natural News. Got it at first from a local health food's store but found it here at Amazon for half the price.

My problem has always been mad snacking desires. This has evened those desires out and I have been dieting and exercising and have lost 16 pounds in a month. I eat a "south beach" (I say south beach but really I don't follow that diet just close to it) diet and eat far less than I usually would. I eat when I'm hungry but I eat sensibly. I don't have the shakes over my "need" for junk food and haven't been once tempted by french fries even when sitting in front of friends who are eating them. I'd had starch and sugar detoxes before that I suffered through. (as did everyone else in my house...haha) This made it far easier. I really love this supplement. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a leveling of their "blood sugar". I say that in quotations because I still haven't tested my blood to know. But I can tell you as a person who has a BAD snack food habit and usually hates to do without them that this product has really given my already strong will a very huge boost. I have taken this product, along with Natural Factors CLA, nearly every day since October and gently lost 15 pounds around the middle. This was my objective, as I have an abdominal aneurism which is being observed. With family history of hypoglycemia and alcohol addiction, I am sure I have some blood sugar issues but have always been borderline. I don't really know what good this was doing for making me lose weight, but it does have the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee(84mg). Shapeworks advises taking it three times a day, I suggest 2 unless you need to pull an all nighter for some reason. And if that's the case, skip the coffee or you'll never sleep again.

I love this product! Many years ago I first heard of it through my physician. He supplied it and it helped me lose weight naturally. I don't like anything with artificial colorants, preservatives or capsules (which if not vegetarian are made from animal insides) and most of the diet aids I knew of over the counter that worked had one or more of the things I mentioned above. Anyhow, I used to have to be monitored by the doctor with monthly blood and BP checkup (only took it for 3 months though as it used to be much more expensive thru the doc vs. the price on Amazon today), but now I wonder if that was because it was going through trials at the time. I say this because I now know that this product is now listed in the physicians PDR as an all natural weight management aid. Not many natural products will doctors recommend, but right there that should say something about the product if accepted into the PDR book. Side note: it seems one should switch off between biolean 2 and biolean free to get the most benefit; however, when I used biolean free I noticed a consistently urgent and frequent need to empty my bladder and even lost it a few times. So beware if u have a weak bladder because the herbs in biolean free (can't recall which one I recognized on the label) have a natural water elimination effect. Like a water pill to aid in water weight reduction.

Why I give 1 star:

- 1-2 hours after you taking it you'll feel like you're full, doesn't want to eat. But after that you'll be very hungry and end up eating too much. THe pill can only hold your craving shortly.

- Didn't feel extra energy

- 4 pills; 3 to be taken in the morning and 1 in the evening. At many times I lost that 1 tiny evening pill or forgot about it.

- they pack 4 pills in a plastic - it's not practical. You'll have to leave 1 evening pill in the plastic, but then you must tear the plastic carefully otherwise the last pill will be slipped out of it. When I remembered to take my last pill in the evening, I must digged in the box to find the slipped out pill.

I clearly prefer 1 pill/day kind of supplement

- it's expensive

- there's a positive thing though: this doesn't give u insomnia

This product is absolutely useless -- no results even when I followed their program religiously for over 2 months. Please don't waste your money! It seems that many diet pills (especially on amazon) have a select few positive reviews that are obviously fraudulent. I wouldn't say I tried "every diet pill" but I have some of the top rated ones and most are marginally effective at best. The ONLY thing that actually works is Lipodrene with 25mg of ephedrine (by the way, ephedrine is completely safe if you don't abuse the product and stay within the recommended dosage). The weight melted off so fast it was surreal. I couldn't believe that something ACTUALLY worked. No one is paying me to say this (ha, I wish they did!) but I just want to share the results with everybody -- Lipodrene makes you lose your appetite completely. I have to almost force myself to eat twice a day, and can make healthy choices in small portions 100% of the time because you're literally indifferent to all food. That is probably due to the hoodia in this pill. It also has caffeine that gives me lots of energy. And the ephedrine acts as a thermogenic compound that helps to burn fat. Oh!
